The Furies are essentially gods of retribution, and in God of War: Ascension they're none too pleased that Kratos has broken his pact with the original God of War, Ares.
It's been a while since we saw any information about God of War: Ascension's singleplayer mode, as the focus has been set on the game's multiplayer for months. It's refreshing to see that the classic story mode isn't being swept under the rug in favor of a multiplayer mode that gamers still seem to be skeptical about.
